The Honda Jazz GK5 served as the absolute backbone of Honda Racing Indonesia's touring car program for over half a decade. Debuting in the mid-2010s, it quickly established itself as the gold standard in both the ITCR 1500 and 1600 Max classes at the Sentul International Circuit.
Driven by HRI Director Alvin Bahar and rising star Avila Bahar, the precision-engineered GK5 chassis secured an incredible run of national titles. It officially retired at the close of the 2021 ISSOM season in a blaze of glory—sealing a double championship victory before permanently passing the torch to the Honda City Hatchback RS.
